An anonymous 48-year-old player has recently taken down a massive $1 million jackpot playing the Age of the Gods: King of Olympus jackpot casino slots game. This is one of the biggest progressive jackpots paid out to date, and certainly the biggest one ever won on a Playtech Age of the Gods game.

To top it off, the player only bet $1 to make it happen. The jackpot-winning player said that the game had been kind to him before, and he had managed to win smaller amounts such as $50 and $100 on it already.
Since launching in May 2016, the seven Age of the Gods games have quickly become the most popular in Playtech's portfolio, which currently contains in excess of 600 different titles.
King of Olympus was the first title in the series to be launched. The game has five reels and 25 lines, some breathtaking graphics, unique bonuses, as well as exciting features. The players are offered a chance to win one of the biggest progressive jackpots in the industry, which is linked to a network of more than 133 popular titles.
Last year, Playtech paid out a total of €154 million in jackpots.
Playtech COO Shimon Akad said that Age of the Gods has been a major success story since its launch. He is delighted to see a player win the jackpot on William Hill, one of the company’s longest-standing partners.
William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly commented that it's always nice to see someone winning such a life-changing amount of money from such a small wager.
