There was no Jackpot Powerball grand-prize winner for the latest drawing, so the money will transfer over to the next round, which is scheduled to take place on March 14th. The next drawing will be worth $123 million with a cash option of $72.7 million.
Here are the numbers for the latest Jackpot Powerball drawing: 1, 26, 41, 50, 57. Red Powerball Power Number: 11. Power Play Number: 2.
As usual, let's take a look at the statistics for this drawing. This time around, not a single player managed to match all five-white ball numbers, so no $1 million mini-jackpots were awarded.
Overall, there were 700,028 winners who won at least $4 each. There were 18,731 winners in the state of Michigan alone. Three Michigan players managed to win $200, which also happens to be the largest individual prize won in the state.
If this information has got you excited to try playing Jackpot Powerball for yourself, then you're in luck! The game is offered in 44 states, including the Virgin Islands, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico. The players must select five white-ball numbers (ranging from 1 to 69) and one red-ball number (ranging from 1 to 26). Each ticket costs $4.
The Powerball community does not seem to agree on any particular strategy. However, to maximize your chances of winning, you are highly encouraged to let the computer pick the numbers for you because 75 percent of jackpot-winning players used the same strategy. However, if you don't want to do that, you can just pick the numbers yourself.
Your odds of winning Jackpot Powerball are one in 292 million.
You can tune in to watch the jackpot drawings live, or you can check the results online later on if you prefer.
Good luck!
